tube amp 40 50 60 watt hi-fi output transformer for push pull 5881 6L6 EL34 pair (or quad or six EL84 amp) primary 3 wires classic hamond colors- B+ red, plate blue, other plate brown. 180DC ohms CT impedance should replace and 4KCT to 8KCT such as 6,600 ohm CT, 40-60W output amps, 5881, 6L6GC, El34 / 6CA7 size about 2 3/4 x 3 3/8" frame, x height (height shown with wires up 4" or 3" above chassis hole. Mounting centers 2 3/8 x 3". output 2 green and blue center tap wires for 4 ohm (use blue and one green), or 8 ohm (use both green wires). if you apply 120V to B+ and either plate, it outputs 15V to the 8 ohm taps, or 7.5V to the 4 ohm taps. the 8 ohm turns voltage ratio 120/15 = 8:1 i confirmed 20-20,000 ruler flat frequency response on the signal generator / oscilloscope shown- I fed 1.1V(amplitude 3V peak to peak) (at 20, 60, 1000, 10,000, 20,000 Hz) into red and either plate primary, and it showed output 0.13V every time. I expected about 1.1 x 15/120 = 0.137 volts at 60 Hz and lower at 20Hz and 20KHz. I was amazed to see 0.13V every time.
