Description
Please read the description carefully before purchasing! FM stations tune in very well. The sound comes through clearly. AM stations do not tune in at all. I could not pick up any AM broadcasts. The tuner needle is missing, and the volume potentiometer is badly oxidized, causing a lot of static in the playback and the volume is very inconsistent. When I played around with it, I could get the radio to come through very loud and very clear at certain positions in the volume knob, as is often the case with oxidized potentiometers. I would deoxidize them myself, but I couldn’t figure out how to remove the volume knob and I do not want to risk breaking the radio. The radio is in good cosmetic condition. The plastic case has some minor scuffs and small chips missing, but is free of any major damage like cracks. There is a hairline crack on the clear plastic panel where the tuner needle would be. The speaker grille is near perfect. The power cable is in good condition and isn’t frayed. Please inspect the pictures carefully for the cosmetic condition of the item.
