GE tube # 6350 - with rib plates No note I will pick them for you. 2- tube with date code in 1970- , I have 3 tubes with date code in 1972– August, I have 2 tube with date code as follows - Oct.- 1965, July- 1967, 1 - Honeywell tube made by Sylvania GB 6350, I think date code is 25 2? Also I have RCA made in G.B.- 12AX7A / ECC83 and some Ratheon made in Japan - 12AX7A / ECC83, I have to decode dates. Look at other tubes I have, I have 4 Mullard # 6350 tubes too. This tube was mainly manufactured for IBM and other computers in the late1950s to mid 1970s. Sylvania and GE rib plates are considered the best of all with this tube. It has a mu or gain factor of 18 so is very close to the 12AU7. These were made to tightspecs and carefully quality checked, since replacement in a computer of the day was difficult and costly, and the tubes were expected to operate 24-7. These make impressive upgrades to the standard 12AU7!
